About Pamela Redmond

I’m the New York Times bestselling author of both humor books and novels, including Younger, which became a television show created by Sex & The City’s Darren Star, and its sequel Older. I’m at work on three new books, two novels called The Matriarch and The Bounce along with a memoir called How I Got Here, to be published by Zibby Books.

I write original scripts too: my novel The Bounce is based on a television pilot I wrote. And I’m working on a television version of The Matriarch.

My other books include the historical novel The Possibility of You and the bestsellers How Not To Act Old and 30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know By The Time She’s 30.

I’m also a name expert and the cocreator with Linda Rosenkrantz of a groundbreaking series on baby names and the world’s largest baby name website Nameberry.

I live in Los Angeles near my son and his husband, though I frequently visit my other son in Las Vegas and New York where my daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter live.

You can learn more about me in these profiles in the LA Times and The New York Times or this story in The Star-Ledger.
