About Pamela Redmond Satran

I’m the New York Times bestselling author of both humor books and novels, including Younger, now a television show created by Sex & The City’s Darren Star for TVLand. My other books include the historical novel The Possibility of You and the bestsellers How Not To Act Old and 30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know By The Time She’s 30.

I’m also a name expert and the cocreator with Linda Rosenkrantz of a groundbreaking series on baby names and the website Nameberry. My newest adventure in naming is an innovative consultancy for adults seeking new names called Clemens & Twain.

I live in Los Angeles with my two sons who are in their twenties (everybody’s doing it) but often visit New York where my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live, and to see clients. I’m working on a new novel that I am really excited about (most days).

You can learn more about me in this profile in The New York Times or this story in The Star-Ledger.
